Pictured is the ANR (Active Noise Reduction) Kit. The kit is designed for you to fit into your own existing headsets. Kit contents:- 1 replacement earphone/microphone cable with integrated power cable 1 set of Temper Foam Soundproofing 1 installation materials (internal wiring, solder, cable ties, heatshrink) 1 pair (Left & Right) replacement speakers 1 Installation/Operating manual NB. Not included in this kit are Gel Ear Seals. We do recommend that these are used to ensure the most effective noise cancellation. Click image for bigger picture Headset Compatability Chart
David Clark® M-01 will fit all David Clark® "H-10" series headsets, except models 13.S / H-20-10. NB. We now stock a slimline kit which will fit the H-10-13.4 Flightcom® M-01 fits models 4-DX and 4-DLX. Our system does not fit the Eclipse or 5-DX Aviation Communications, Inc. (Avcomm)® M-01 fits all, however, model AC 800 and 900 have a PTT switch in right side which must be removed. Sigtronics® M-01 fits only S-20, S-40, S-45 and S-65. Pilot Avionics® M-01 fits PA-20, PA-40 & PA-51. Our system does not fit PA 11-90. Softcom® M-01 fits all models. On model C-60 the PTT switch and the volume control in right side probably will have to be removed. Telex® M-01 fits the Pro-Air 2000, AIR 3500 and AIR 3100. Pro-Air 2000 requires Telex gel seal kit part #800027-001. Currently our instruction booklet does not cover Telex headsets, although most installations are similar.
Technical SpecificationsGeneral Description: The ANR Kit is designed for maximum comfort in extremely high noise, low frequency environments. The use of advanced electro-acoustical noise reduction circuitry with a patented baffle-plate design provides one of the strongest active noise cancelling signals available. The acoustically balanced audio system (ABAS) amplifies the incoming audio signal to deliver a rich, high fidelity audio sound not found in comparable priced headsets. General Data: Noise cancelling bandwidth: 20 Hz through 800Hz Operating voltage: 7.5 volts minimum - 10.0 volts maximum Battery life:15 hours on 9 volts Earphones (audio) Impedence: 150 ohm Rated input power: 100 mW nominal - 200 mW maximum Frequency response (audio) 50 Hz ~ 20 KHz
Noise Attenuation
Below are the measurements in mm of a typical speakerboard. The board is 23mm deep and typically will need about another 10mm clearance for the cable/temper foam inserts etc.
